Brookside Park
Brookside Park, affectionately referred to as "Big Tree" by some, used to be a residential property. You can still see remnants of the old fireplace. This park abuts Animal Acres Park. Rhododendrons abound.
What Do I Need to Know Before Visiting?
Park at (Pfingst) Animal Acres Park and walk over. Watch your speed on school days, as there is an elementary school across the street!
What Will I see Here?
Listen for Pine Siskins and Golden-crowned Kinglets in the tall trees.
