Get Involved!

We want your help!

Did you know that there are over 9000 extant species of birds in the world and over 500 can be found here in Washington state?!1,2 Through this project, we hope to better describe the diversity of bird species and behaviors in Lake Forest Park, WA and the greater Puget Sound region. The Lake Forest Park Community Bird Project not only recognizes bird biodiversity, but also the diversity of of bird watchers in our communities.  We are excited to welcome everyone to enjoy the pursuit of bird watching.

Whether you live in in Lake Forest Park or one of our other survey locations, we need your help collecting data on the birds in your local parks and green spaces.
